Brussels, November 12, 2024 – European Game Meat Week 2024 has marked an exceptional collaboration among FACE Members – Europe’s national hunting associations – to promote game meat as a sustainable and ethical food choice that supports both wildlife conservation and cultural heritage. During the week (4-10 November), FACE Members highlighted the benefits of game meat under the hashtag #GameMeatWeek. Almost 2 million “impressions” were reached on social media.

In a unique celebration of this success, FACE Members from several countries brought a selection of game meat to the European Parliament, where they were warmly welcomed by Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). There was a resounding message from MEPs that European Game Meat Week has united diverse voices to celebrate the role of game meat in sustainable living, biodiversity, and local culture.

During Game Meat Week, FACE Members engage to celebrate the value of game meat across a wide range of communication channels and social media platforms. The success of this initiative reflects the dedication and enthusiasm of hunters, conservationists, and food lovers.
