FIREARMS LICENSING REQUIREMENTS IN THE NETHERLANDS
In the Netherlands, we have the hunting permit also known as “jachtakte”(hunting certificate). For people outside the Netherlands (and the EU) there is a possibility to apply for a jachtakte.
Hunters from EU-countries can travel with their weapons to the Netherlands with the European Firearm Pass. Hunters from outside the EU need to have a consent for the export, import or transit of weapons and ammunition.
These hunters can apply for a consent at the Central Service for Import and Export.
