The conservation status of the wolf has been a longstanding topic of debate at the EU level. It gained renewed attention in 2022 when it re-emerged on the European Parliament’s policy agenda. The discussion intensified further when the Standing Committee of the Bern Convention voted in favor of the EU proposal to downlist the wolf’s conservation status under the convention. The event aims to facilitate constructive dialogue and explore balanced solutions.
This event is co-organised by the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE) and the European Landowners’ Organization (ELO).
