RFEC President receives the “Diana” award for his work in Europe

FACE has awarded Manuel Gallardo, President of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation (RFEC), the distinguished “Diana” award for his work and dedication to promoting hunting in Europe.

The president of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation (RFEC), Manuel Gallardo, has received the prestigious “Diana” award from FACE for his work and dedication in promoting hunting in Europe. Manuel, who has served on the FACE Board for four year, has been actively engaged in shaping FACE policy. The decision was taken by the FACE General Assembly this autumn in recognition of Manuel’s involvement, commitment, and achievement in assisting FACE in promoting sustainable hunting in Europe.

The President of FACE, Laurens Hoedemaker, presented the award in the European Parliament this week as part of the various activities organised during European Game Meat WeekManuel Gallardo thanked FACE and its president for the recognition, which, he said, means a lot, especially given the high importance of EU decision-making on hunting and conservation in Spain. He recalled the importance of FACE’s united approach with 37 countries in working for a strong future for hunting and conservation in Europe.
