The European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE) is proud to welcome the National Shooting Show into its Patron Programme as a Bronze Patron.

Linked to this, the National Shooting Show is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 European Deer Calling Championship, set to take place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate on 10th – 11th May 2025. FACE will help connect the finest deer callers from across Europe to the show, creating a platform to showcase their skills in an atmosphere celebrating the tradition and art of deer calling.

The event will be a major attraction at the 2025 National Shooting Show, providing spectators with the unique opportunity to witness expert competitors mimicking the calls of different deer species, such as the red deer and roe deer. The European Deer Calling Championship will crown the best deer caller in Europe, further promoting the tradition of deer calling as an essential skill for hunters and land managers across the continent.

The European Deer Calling Championship is open to all hunters and wildlife enthusiasts, with participants judged by a panel of experts on their ability to reproduce accurate deer calls in a variety of scenarios. Spectators can expect a dynamic and thrilling competition, alongside a range of educational talks and demonstrations on hunting and conservation.
